Both before and after the pandemic, healthcare staff were overworked, underpaid and undervalued. This leads to staff burnout and poor mental health. This project sought to find a solution to both unite healthcare staff and give them a voice in order to express their experiences and emotions. Rhyme on the Frontline is a not for profit organisation that provides poetry workshops for frontline NHS workers focused on wellbeing. It uses the language of this poetry to convey a message of protest against the continued government mistreatment of NHS staff. Bloom &amp; Gloom is a subscription service offered in collaboration with mental health charity, Mind. Every season, the subscriber will recieve a ‘grow kit’ which features herb seeds, a recipe and a special zine. Designed to ‘bring the outdoors in’ and accepting that sometimes those with depression may not feel up to going out into the world. Zine riso printed by Earthbound Press. The construction of this new line will cause permanent, irreversible damage to many ancient woodland areas in the UK. Slow and Steady Wins the Race is a campaign focused on children, to encourage activism against HS2. I chose Nottingham’s beloved radical bookshop, Five Leaves. As it is one of the few remaining radical bookshops left within the UK, I decided to make this the prime focus of the rebrand. I created the brand message ‘Revolutionary Ideas, Radical Minds’ to reflect this.
